We spent a very memorable Thanksgiving with Elaine and Columbia's family. My husband Charles and I felt so welcome and so relaxed, and spending the day with Elaine, we had a new friend. And boy could she COOK! I managed to wangle a couple of recipes from her. I hope somebody was keeping a cookbook of her treasures, because they were wonderful and they were a real expression of her art and her love for her family. Columbia, I am going to be asking you for some pretty soon, now that Thanksgiving is coming up!
