Mike was born on February 7, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Charles and Dorothy Blackburn. He graduated from Howard Payne University. Mike married the love of his life, Sheila Anne Harrell, May 15, 1976 in Littlefield, Texas. . He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
At the time of his death Mike was President of Wilks Masonry. His profession was in Commercial Construction. He had also served on the board of the United Masonry Contractors Association. Mike loved his family, his work, golfing, fishing and working cows on his ranch.
Mike is survived by his loving wife: Sheila Blackburn, daughter: Brittany and husband Kevan Boling, granddaughter: Ashley Veron, Sister: Sandy Paul and Husband Bobby, Nephew: Stefan Lewis, Nieces: Kimberly Lewis and Sondra Pelt, and also great nieces and nephews.
