——————————————————————————–

TOLAR — Jerry Franklin Bilton, 71, of Tolar passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2013 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Jerry was born on February 7, 1942 to Clarence and Mryl (Wallace) Bilton in Glen Rose, Texas.
He spent most of his childhood days growing up on a farm in Oregon. Jerry loved carpentry and worked as a general contractor for 30+ years until he was forced to stop due to his illness. His interests included his dearly loved daughter and granddaughter, gardening, and just simply being outside in the sunshine. He also enjoyed watching football, NASCAR racing, wildlife shows, old westerns, and crime shows on T.V. He liked to listen to classic country music such as George Jones and Conway Twitty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters, Wanda Ann Bilton, Martha Bilton and his loving son Michael Lynn Bilton.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Clinton Davis and his darling granddaughter, Mariah Angel Davis.
A graveside service honoring Jerry was held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Holly Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Alvin Howell officiating.
There was no viewing or visitation per his request.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the members of Mission Hospice, Harbor Lakes Plaza Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Dr. Barnes. Their dedication and effort to provide quality care were a heartwarming blessing to all his loved ones.
Also a special thanks to Martin’s Funeral Home for all the arrangements, special care, and support during this difficult time.
Gone yet not forgotten, Although we are apart, Your spirit lives within us, Forever in our hearts.
