Edward Tumlinson, 55, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2013.
Memorial service: 3:00 Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Triple Cross Cowboy Church, 3470 Lipan Hwy, Granbury, TX.

Edward had lived in our community since he was a young boy on the Odom Ranch in Cresson, Texas. He participated in football and track at Granbury High School and went on to play football for Texas Tech. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree at Tarleton and later applied that knowledge to become a teacher and then a Field Operation Engineer in the oil and gas industry. Edward was an active outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. Among his talents he was a very skilled carpenter. He will be well remembered among his family and friends for his love of life and contagious humor.
Survivors: son, Jonathon Tumlinson of Temple, TX; daughter, Kensee Tumlinson of Georgetown, TX; step-son, Jerry Paul Darrell of Glen Rose; father, Monroe Tumlinson of Cresson, TX; sister, Bertha Meador of San Angelo, TX; nephew, Monroe Meadow of San Antonio; great niece, Caitlyn Meadow of San Antonio and niece, Heather Meador of Arlington.
