Earnest Henry Isham died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at his home in Granbury. There will be a family memorial service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
Mr. Isham was born March 2, 1934 in Many, Louisiana to Curtis Alton Isham and Lillie Speaks.
Earnest enjoyed “tinkering” with things and fixing things that others could not fix. He liked to fish but his favorite activity was going to Wal-Mart. He owned a 1962 Ford Fairlane pickup that was his pride and joy. He enjoyed shooting guns but the title of “Mr. Betty Crocker” was his favorite. Family and friends say he was a Baker of Cakes that was unmatched. No recipe just “Mr. Betty Crocker” skill.
Needless to say, he loved his family and was a hard worker.
Survivors: wife, Mary Isham, who he married in August of 2002 in Granbury, three children, Pamela Kayne, Linda Byan and Alton Isham; six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
