Charles Frederick Ball, Jr. passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2019. Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M., Thursday October 3, 2019, Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury, Texas.
Charles was born in Santa Anna, Texas on November 8, 1945 and later grew up in Coleman, TX. He was born to Charles Frederick Ball, Sr. and Mary Clem Shelton. He grew up on a farm until the day he packed up and joined the United States Army where he served from January 31, 1966 to the day he was honorably discharged on Jan 14, 1969; during the Vietnam War.
Charles later moved onto many endeavors in Washington D.C. before heading back to Texas where he worked and started a family. He was a member and actively involved in contributing to multiple VFW post and the Farmers Branch Lions Club. He retired as a Mortgage Lender and resided in Granbury, Texas for the last 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles is survived by his sons: Charles “Chip” Ball & Eric Zirngible; and granddaughter: Ashalyn Zirngible.
