On Friday, June 10, 2022, Bobbie Bertram, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and true disciple for Christ, passed away at the age of 92.

Born Feb. 7, 1930 in Dallas, Tx to Robert and Wilma Watts, she lived most of her life in Arlington, FW and Granbury. After graduating Paschal High School as Valedictorian in 1947, she married her high school sweetheart, Bob N. Weaver in 1950. Bobbie enjoyed a fulfilling career running the family dry-cleaning business, PTA, Girl Scout leader and teaching Bible School. While raising her three daughters and working at Randal Mill Church of Christ, she returned to college at age 50, receiving her accounting degree from UTA with a 4.0 GPA and then later managed TransUnion Credit Union.

In 1981, she married George Bertram and enjoyed an amazing marriage until his death in 1995. Bobbie and George lived in Granbury, Texas where she was a very active member of Granbury Church of Christ.

Bobbie lived a complete life of faith in Christ and was a most amazing person. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, crocheting, hiking, mowing, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Bobbie loved to play table games, especially Rummikub, which she would play with her daughter almost every night.  Her primary focus was always service and discipleship. Her door was always open to anyone in need. When not at home, she could be found at church or volunteering in some fashion – but always serving others. Bobbie dedicated 24 years to mission adventures in Austria, Russia, Cambodia, and Croatia.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, husband George and step-son-Ted Bertram. She leaves behind 3 daughters-Jan Cartwright (husband Chris), Susan Shotton and LeeAnn Weaver, as well as 2 granddaughters- Chelsea Rogers (husband Randy) and Cameron Berend  (husband Kyle), 4 great grandchildren, step-daughter Beggs Brown and sister Shirley Capps (husband Trent).
