My sincere condolence to all of the Holcomb family in the loss of this very sweet lady. She always had that wonderful smile anytime and anywhere my wife and I would meet her. For the last several years when she was still able to drive and attend the chapel bible study group I will always remember that smile when I delivered her a cup of coffee.

We were new to the Sunday school class that Louise attended. Her statements during the discussions always impressed me. One day after class I commented to her, “You’re my kind!” She smiled and responded, “I don’t know what kind you are.” That was true! As our friendship grew I began to realize I should have said, “You are the kind I want to be!” She always thought before she spoke, and refused to blindly follow the conversation’s trend. I admired her very much.

Mrs. Holcomb was always a spark of enthusiasm and fun! She was a taskmaster with her students as she worked with each tirelessly helping them learn to read. The joy in her passing is knowing she will be with our Lord and her beloved Jack! Our thoughts and prayers are with her family as they celebrate her life.

Kim, I'm sharing in your sadness, as you remember Mom...
Not having to ever make funeral arrangements, I was at a loss. However, the entire process was made as easy as possible for us. Everyone was very courteous and helpful.
